from unknown sources exposes your
PC to computer viruses.

6: Checking on any company that you
wish to purchase items from before
making any online payments. enter
the companies name into a search
engine will provide some clues and
information relating to other peoples
shopping experience with the company.

7: Ensure when making payments
online that you are on a secure site
by checking the address bar, it
should read https:// not http:// and
a padlock symbol will be displayed
at the foot of the webpage.

8: Ensure that you are using the
best data encryption settings
available to you when using
wireless laptops or desktops.
